Non-Geographic Numbers are the sensible choice for any organisation. By having a non-geographic or freephone number, you instantly change customer's perception of your company being in one local town, to possibly being a national conglomerate!

NGN numbers – summary features and benefits
A non-geographic number (NGN) is exactly how it describes itself. it isn’t associated with an STD code so the NGN can be moved around the UK with the company or individual never having to change the number they provide to contacts or customers (see benefits below).

Setup charges start at £60 + VAT with prices increasing the more memorable the number.



What numbers can I choose from?

0800/0808

•	Free to customers
•	Per minute charge rate is only 4.95p per minute to the company

0844

•	Local rate call for customers
•	The company/customer earns 0.1p per minute on each inbound call at all times

0845

•	BT local rate call for customers
•	The company earns 0.2p per minute on each inbound call during peak times

0870

•	National rate for customers charged at approximately 7p per minute
•	The company earns 2p per minute at peak times, 0.65p per minute off-peak and 0.15p per minute at weekends

0871

•	National rate for customers charged at 8.5p per minute plus VAt = 9.99p per minute. this represents the highest rate that can be charged without declaring it to callers. if the rate is 10p or above the rate must be declared
•	The company earns 2.5p per minute on each call at all times

Premium Rate numbers

•	The company earns money at a chosen higher rate per minute
•	Each deal is separately negotiated

How does it work?
